  • Hey Augur Well:I'm a physician, and it's my JOB as a medical professional to dig deep & to look for the worst possible explanation in any of my patients who has a similar story. 2 am, alone in a car, post-holiday. Those are all red flags. I don't think superficially.

  • What are you talking about? Of course this is a medical emergency. Duh. A cab driver with a 3rd grade education knows that this is a medical emergency. You don't need to be a physician to figure that out.

  • As a physician, when a person is involved in a single-car crash, 2 immediate things come to mind: 1. suicide attempt 2. substance abuse --- they said alcohol wasn't involved. but, there are plenty of other illicit & licit substances that can be involved.
